Marilyn Manson & Smashing Pumpkins

A few weeks back we went to the "End of Times tour" With Marilyn Manson and The Smashing Pumpkins at Comerica Theater in Phoenix AZ. I wanted to give a perspective from the balcony. I have to say it was pretty stellar from that view point. To see the artist and the stage in its entirety  and the sea of fans was truly breathtaking. I have a video to post along with this blog to show the view. Anyway, their fans are extremely kind and loyal, the gentleman sitting down from me head banged for the entire Marilyn Manson set.(To me is pretty damn impressive) His set was completely fucking iconic! I'm not just saying that because I think he is the bees knees, I'm saying it cause he is completely provocative . He says the things you only think about but never muster up the balls to say..(Lyrically) My personal favorite from the set was "Rock is Dead" I am not gonna lie 5 seconds into the song I placed my camera down and started jumping around and head banging. All and all the show he put on was completely phenomenal.

The next artist is Smashing Pumpkins. Again completely blown away!! watching the crowd get hyped at each song they preformed. Seeing the people to my left shouting each lyric to each song they had on their set. It was truly amazing to see. My personal favorite was when they preformed "Landslide" Ive heard various covers of this song and haven't really cared for them. But,Billy did a great job! It was captivating from start to finish. By the time he finished the song I had tears rolling down my face. (That song gets me every time)

Unfortunately I missed the opening act Cage. But aside from that the night was truly stellar! and to anyone out there that feels like they might be missing allot by sitting in the balcony, your not. Go Ask Alice!

Recently we got to interview Go Ask Alice before there show at Joe's Grotto on July 10th. I thought Id share my thoughts on this stellar band.

Before I jump into the recent interview with this young lads, I want to bring it back to when I first heard them, I was at Joe's Grotto the month before to interview Virulent. The opening act was the band Go Ask Alice. They caught my attention, there overall sound was amazing . After hearing them I knew i wanted them to be on Munster. They have a very good and unique sound that sets them apart from most bands I've heard. (Every band has there own sound but some stand out more then others) and in this case this band stands out. I was surprised when we interviewed them to find out that they have only been doing this for 7 months!!! If you haven't heard them yet may I suggested checking them out! They also have a upcoming show on August 17th at PubRocks in Scottsdale AZ, If your in the area swing by, you won't be disappointed.

Go Ask Alice Interview From Joes Grotto 7/10/15

The Bad with the Rad

Let me start off by saying this is a half bad and half rad blog. Id be lying to you and myself if I wasn't honest. I know that everything cant be great all the time. With that being said here is my blog for the recent show on June 20th at PubRocks in Scottsdale AZ.

We Arrived at 645pm for a 7pm opening. (Our Tickets said Doors open and 7pm) I am not sure what happened but the doors didn't open till 8pm. No one came out to tell us anything. There was a big line and we were all waiting out in the 100+ degree weather. Even with water and some parts on shade it was still hot as Satan's Ass Crack. The one awesome thing that happened while waiting is the band *Some Call Us Heroes* came out and gave everyone in line there CD. Thank you for that Guys!! Also on  a side note..Love the tracks, and you guys rocked it on stage sound amazing live and to the readers out there check them out!

Ok so back to the rest...We finally got into the venue and got our drinks and seats. The first band to come out was Jane of the Jungle I loved there sound! Its a mix of blues and rock. Next was Note to Self again another amazing set, Also congrats guys on winning the local warped battle of the bands!! Next is DED I have never heard this band before and was blown away you couldn't help but get up and move. After DED was Some Call Us Heroes again AMAZING! Unfortunately I couldn't stay for Shamans Harvest and PowerMan5000, Ive gotten to see PM5K several times and every time is just as stellar. I'm sure this one was phenomenal as well! As for Shamans Harvest I would have loved to seen live since I never have gotten to but I'm sure Ill get another chance in the future! Even though it was a rough start it went very well for the rest of the night. In the future though , I get that things can happen and make things run late but a simple heads up to the crowd would be awesome! That's all for now and I cant wait to hear more from these bands!!

I thought I would touch base with everyone!!! This Friday one of our Munsters #Jack will be at the Warped Tour in Pomona CA! We will have a week in Warped to follow! which will include pics vids new bands old bands fan pov and much more! This Saturday I will be out in Scottsdale to see PM5K with Soil and others Tba, I will have Pics and blog to follow as well. We also Have a Munster Merch Line coming out this Summer 2015.
